Lensmansgarden lays in Innfjorden, it is about 10 km from Åndalsnes in direction of Ålesund. (E136)
Åndalsnes is the nearest town whit shops, restaurants, banks and gasstations. Innfjorden is a small village with about 271 inhabitants, which is idyllically situated between sea and mountains, in breathtaking scenery with green hills and waterfalls.
Lensmansgarden is an old farm in Innfjorden. The name stems from the 1700s, when the sheriff lived on the farm.
Hosts are Anne Kari and Iver Jakob Hage, we are interested in living communities and rural culture.
The farm center consists of both old and new houses where the whole is taken care of in style and color choices. Many of the buildings have turf roofs. The farm is a good start point for trips booth summer and winter times (click to find out more ). Our goal is a pleasant and peaceful farm where people have a good time and want comeback.
Up to 2009 Lensmansgarden was driven in a combination of milk cows and tourism.
After 2009 the cowshed are rebuild and are now coming to be holiday apartments for tourists. The pig house is earlier rebuilt for tourism.
